August British Books Challenge

Another month in which I did not get to complete this challenge. Strange that my reading fell off during the summer months. (?) Directing my energies into reading & writing something during this last third of the year; can I also factor in retiring to this challenge? Honestly, I do feel the loss of reading in my life. I hate the books-as-just-objects part of the philosophical cycle. After discovering the anthropological points of view on books, there's not much more joy in not getting back to reading.
